Use this CSULB Password Utility to:
- Establish your password for the first time. Your University email address, required on the next page, can be found in your Offer of Admission (for students) or Welcome email (for employees). Select "I forgot my password" when prompted.
- Reset your password. Whether you forgot your password or are required to reset it, select "I forgot my password" when prompted. Alternatively, if you know your password and are required to reset it, you can visit the campus Single Sign-On (SSO) password-reset function.
- Unlock your account if you’re unable to access systems and you know your password is correct and not expired, select "I know my password, but still can't sign in" when prompted.
Recommendation:
- Set up more than one MFA method as backup. It is highly recommended that you establish more than one multi-factor authentication method to ensure you maintain access to campus services. This helps in such cases as when you lose or change your phone or tablet. Learn how to setup additional MFA methods.
